Bringing the transformative power of AI to MSPs and their clients

The explosive power of AI is currently unavailable to Managed Services Providers and their SMB clients

The concept of Artificial Intelligence dates back to 17th century philosophers. Its achievement has long been the dream of the technology industry.

In 1950, Alan Turing proposed the Turing Test.

In the 1990s, development focused on neural networks.

In 2016, Google quietly transitioned Translate to be powered by a Large Language Model, with astonishing results.

In 2022, OpenAI released ChatGPT to the public on GPT 3.5, then transitioned to GPT4 in April 2023.

Each of these milestones marks a seismic shift in the development of artificial intelligence. Today, in 2024, powerful AI models run many of the services we consume and the apps we use. But the true power of AI is elusive for the vast majority of small and mid-sized clients.

Why?

Recent AI breakthroughs have only been in specific domains of intelligence, and significant thresholds are yet to be crossed. Bringing the power of today’s AI requires a deep competence, software, process reimagining, and the ability to tune and harness these models in precision ways. Immense complexity needs to be addressed to turn AI to real business process reimagining.

AI is currently an unruly but powerful instrument. It needs to be tuned and brought into the symphony of business competencies. The music we play needs to be rearranged to take advantage of this instrument.

Orchestrating AI, in this way, is our mission.

He is also Chair of The Vervaeke Foundation, where he works closely with Dr. John Vervaeke, one of the world’s leading cognitive scientists.

  • Aaron Bassett

    Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Aaron has spent his career delivering technological solutions to business and science needs. He’s done everything from designing and implementing a nationwide distributed supercomputer for whole genome cancer research to end to end ground to space software for a satellite that’s currently in orbit. He’s happiest working in fast moving, early-stage projects and always hunting for the best fit solutions to any given problem.

  • Steve Benz

    Machine Learning Fellow

Steve has built and advised machine learning and AI efforts for over 15 years across multiple modalities of text, images, and structured data. He has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications using various machine learning and deep neural network approaches, including 5 issued US patents. He obtained his Ph.D. from UC Santa Cruz in 2012 with his work creating a probabilistic model of cellular networks in cancer.

  • Jim Kytola

    VP of Software Engineering

With over two decades of experience in full-stack development, Jim has focused his career on accessibility, stability, and data security. He has led teams building analysis platforms, design systems and application frameworks utilized across multiple product lines. He finds the most reward in transforming complex systems into simple and accessible experiences for both end users and team members.
